Manufacturing

At DSM Designs, we share a passion for craftsmanship and a vision in the form of furniture and cabinetry. We have a team of extremely skilled craftsmen that bring your vision to life whether it be an intimate small space or a large environment. Every piece of furniture and cabinetry is proudly made in the USA in our 20,000-square-foot warehouse that is located in Des Moines, Iowa.

Quality

Being that each individual piece of furniture and cabinetry is handcrafted in our warehouse we can oversee each piece ensuring its quality, and alignment of drawers, doors, handles, and hardware will withstand the test of time.

We know and understand specifically the salon industry, the wear and tear, the importance of functionality, and the art of color. We have taken the time to test various laminates and surfaces to determine what surfaces are stained by color and what type of hard materials will provide the highest quality to each piece of furniture when built.

Electrical

Our cabinetry is crafted with forward-thinking features, including easy access to pull-wires for electrical connections, strategically placed cutouts, and false panels. These innovations provide greater flexibility, simplify maintenance, and differentiate us from our competitors.

Our cabinetry units are thoughtfully designed and pre-finished with integrated electrical access points to facilitate easy and efficient wiring. These access points are strategically positioned either through designated floor access openings or on the sides of the wall, ensuring that electrical connections can be made conveniently during installation. This design consideration helps to streamline the setup process, minimize disruption, and ensure that all electrical components are fully accessible for maintenance and future upgrades.
